Rod Donald Hut remains open during the current Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.
You are responsible for your own safety and precautions. We encourages all our users to be aware that you are sharing the space and take additional precautions including frequent handwashing and not sharing dishcloths or tea towels with other groups. The Trust will be providing extra soap and j-cloths for the time being, and spray and wipe bottles are available.
Users are reminded NOT to put wet wipes or plastic waste in the Rod Donald Hut pit toilet as these do not break down to compost and will ruin our excellent system. Please pack out all wet wipes, plastic, j-clothes and everything else you bring in, and do not leave food behind.
Users who have booked a bunk are permitted to erect a tent outside instead if you want to sleep in your own space – but camping for those without a hut booking is not permitted.
