With great sadness and heavy hearts, we let you know that Rod Donald Hut is closed from Monday 23 March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Many thanks to everyone who has stayed at the hut, looked after it so well, introduced their kids to tramping here and had a wonderful time.
Many thanks to David Brailsford, our Hut Manager, for his dedication in looking after it.
We will let you know when it re-opens.
In the meantime, tracks remain open – so get out walking on Banks Peninsula on these beautiful autumn days.
