The Banks Peninsula Walking Festival will run on four weekends in November. The only pan-Peninsula event, the festival is co-produced by Project Lyttelton, Akaroa District Promotions, Little River/Wairewa Community Trust and Rod Donald Trust. We are delighted to have engaged Sue Church as the festival co-ordinator this year. “The program is coming together well”, says Sue, “and we hope to have brochure out and bookings set up on Eventfinda later in September”. If you can help in any way, we are still looking for guides, tail end charlies and van drivers to help make this years festival a success.
