Input to Council plans!

Sharpen your thoughts around biodiversity and access on Banks Peninsula. Christchurch City Council has begun its initial consultations on Reserve Management plans for Misty Peaks and Te Oka and is also considering replacing the Biodiversity Strategy and the Public Open Space Strategy with a new Natural Heritage Strategy. The Trust will make submissions to all of these as they relate to our core goals, and we’re working to encourage the Council to run walks in the November walking festival to enable the public to visit Misty Peaks and Te Oka with the rangers and hear what is planned.
