We wish to say a huge thank-you to Andrew Turner for his decade of service to the Rod Donald Banks Peninsula Trust. Andrew served as a Trustee for nine years, and most recently as Trust Manager.
Andrews’s passion and knowledge for the environment, biodiversity and conservation have resulted in a huge contribution to the Trusts work over the years. He has played an integral role in seeing a large range of projects come into fruition, and has helped advocate for funding to secure the Trusts existence well into the future.

Andrew recalls that one of the more interesting situations he found himself in was performing a speech, microphone in hand, at the top Te Ahu Pātiki/Mt Herbert in November 2016. Over 100 people attended, braving the strong nor’west wind, to celebrate the opening of the Te Ara Pātaka Walkway.

Many thanks from us all Andrew and we wish you every success in your future endeavours.
