Don’t miss the wonderful Banks Peninsula Festival happening at beautiful Orton Bradley Park on Saturday February 20th with a great line-up of musicians, food stalls and mystery cooking competition.
Look out for our stall where you can find out more about our fantastic Te Ahu Pātiki project to purchase 500ha right above Orton Bradley including the fabulous Mt Bradley and Mt Herbert that dominate the park skyline. The land will become a conservation park for biodiversity and with full public access for walking, cycling and climbing secured for the future.
We are working closely with Orton Bradley Park who are making a big financial contribution and Te Hapū o Ngāti Wheke who hold mana whenua over the area to create this wonderful new asset. We are currently fundraising for another $350,000 to make this all happen.
We look forward to seeing you there for a great day on Banks Peninsula.
