The Trust launched its 2014-15 photo competition on November 8 to coincide with the Banks Peninsula Walking Festival. This year our topic is the Spine of the Lizard!

We are looking for your wonderful photos of family, friends and landscapes out walking on Banks Peninsula – but this year they must be taken on, or of, the Spine of the Lizard Tracks! The tracks are listed on our walking information website www.bankpeninsulawalks.co.nz as numbers 8,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18. Click here to go to Greater Banks Peninsula page where you will find them mapped and listed. These tracks include the fabulous Packhorse Hut, Mt. Herbert, along the double fenceline from Port Levy Saddle to Hilltop and the tracks connecting from the valleys below, such as Kaituna and the Monument track.
