New Trustees

The Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of two new Trustees, Bob Webster and Brian Patrick.

A high country tenure lease review consultant, Bob Webster brings extensive experience of negotiating with landowners, as well as his own personal experience as a Peninsula landowner working to regenerate native forest on his own property adjacent to the Summit Walkway.

Ecologist, story-teller and former museum director Brian Patrick is the well-known author of many books on the New Zealand environment, including the award winning “Wild Dunedin”. He brings his enthusiasm and expertise on biodiversity to the Trust.

At the same time, the Trust says a fond farewell to retiring Trustee Nicola Shirlaw, who, as the link to Rod Donald’s family, has made an invaluable contribution to the development of the Trust’s values during its foundation years. Her contributions will be missed and the Trust wishes her well in her new ventures.
