Our long standing Trust Manager Suky Thompson is retiring at the end of July and we want to say a huge thankyou to her for her dedication and commitment to the Trust over many years.
“I’ve been on a wonderful journey with the Trust”, says Suky, “I’d like to thank everyone from across the Peninsula and Christchurch who has supported me along the way. Now its time for me to retire and open this opportunity up for someone new to take up the role.”
The Co-Chairs wish to acknowledge the immense contribution Suky has made to BP recreation and conservation over the last eleven years. In particular the development of the Trust, the expansion of Te Ara Pātaka, establishment of the Rod Donald Hut, the BP Walking Festival and the acquisition of many important sites including Te Ahu Pātiki. Suky’s energy and professionalism will be sorely missed and we wish her all the best for her future.
