Walking Festival Guides Dinner

Well another great Banks Peninsula Walking Festival has just come to an end and what better way to celebrate its success and show our appreciation to our volunteer guides than getting together for a meal.

Every year we end the Festival with a Guides appreciation dinner, and this year it was held at the Okuti Hall in Little River. This was a great chance to get all of the guides and tail end Charlies together to share about their walking adventures and enjoy a slideshow featuring images from all of the walk locations.

Rod Donald Trust Co-chair Richard Suggate expressing his thanks to the team of volunteers, without whom the Festival would not be possible.

Thanks so much to our Festival Coordinator Wanda Vivequin who has worked so hard over a period of many months to pull the whole event together, and despite a few walks being cancelled due to some uncooperative weather the Festival was very successful and a great way to showcase our beautiful Banks Peninsula to many.
