Banks Peninsula Walks Directory and Brochures

The Trust’s Banks Peninsula Walks Directory lists all the walks open to the public on Banks Peninsula.  View it on our website ( or purchase a hard-copy from one Banks Peninsula’s visitor centres, the  Department of Conservation counter at the Christchurch i-site and from several different quality shops including Map World, Little River Gallery and Pot Pourri in Akaroa.  The Directory makes an excellent coffee-table resource to keep at your home or bach and help plan your next walking adventure on Banks Peninsula.

The Trust itself publishes four different brochures:  Akaroa Village Walks, Akaroa Country Walks, Akaroa Harbours and Bays, and Lyttelton Town and Hills. These are also available at the above mentioned visitor centres and shops.  We highly recommend that you also obtain a more detailed brochure to find and follow your chosen walk, as the Directory provides high level information only. Our bright and beautiful brochures with their lovely hand-painted illustrated maps have proved tremendously popular and are kept updated as new walks come on stream.

If you have a retail premise and would like to stock the resources is welcome to contact the Trust.
